George E. "Bubba" Hopson Jr.
YORKTOWN - George E. 'Bubba' Hopson Jr. was called home to be with his Heavenly Father on Sunday, Jan. 9, 2005. He was born Jan. 13, 1961, to George E. 'Billy' Hopson Sr. and Willnett Moyler Hopson. He was a native of Yorktown, Va., and was a 1979 graduate of Tabb High School. He joined Carys Baptist Church at and early age and was previously employed with Plymkraft Inc. He was currently employed Treated Lumer Outlet. Other than his parents, he leaves to cherish his memories, a daughter, Keshia Lewis; a sister, Ruth 'Ann' Ferebee (Carlton); a nephew, Carlton 'Brandon' Ferebee; two special cousins, Kenneth 'Kenny' Moyler and Bernard 'Bee-Bee' Moyler; a special friend, Patricia Bumpers Haney; aunts, Dorcas Wilson (Walter), Flossie Lewis (Winston) and Esterine Moyler; uncles, Roger Hopson, Carl Moyler (Sylvia) and Bernard Moyler (Shirley); great-aunts, Edith Johnson and Marion Newsome; a host of cousins, other relatives and friends. A homegoing service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 15, at Nicholson-Cummings Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Hampton Memorial Gardens. Viewing will be from 1 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home. The Hopson family is receiving services of comfort from Nicholson-Cummings Funeral Home, 4304 Victoria Blvd., Hampton. (757) 728-0122.
