Gene Laughery says:

I was there! Made some money in spite of the ugly weather. I didn't see any classmates. :(

Gina,

I looked for you at the Urbanna Oyter festival but didn't see you. There were a lot of really nice craft and jewelry displays. We had a great time even though it rained there Sat morning.

I used to love the Urbana Oyster Festival--good times, good memories!

Just want some bragging rights here. My daughter was accepted into East Carolina University and University of NC, Charlotte. She has chosen to go to the latter, I could not be more proud of her! I am already starting to miss her and she isn't even gone yet, lol.

I have been off-line for a while due to my internet being down, but we definitely need to start locating some more classmates and get some communication started again. Hope all is doing well.

Hey Everyone,
I turned down Old Yorktown Rd. the other week and noticed that Brendan's old house on the corner had caught on fire. There wasn't much left but the brick exterior.

Your right Terri, it's time to get busy and make some phone calls. I know I've made contact with at least a dozen people that still haven't loggod in yet.

Gina, you're way too funny and obviously have too much time on your hands.

Big welcome to David Hunt!!! I ran into David at Costco last night. It was good to see you David.

Hey Everyone, Dave Emmons will probably kill when he gets back, but I want to let everyone know that Dave just left for Iraq. He got a job with a DOD contractor and the company needed him in the Middle East. He will spend 3 months in Iraq and then 3 months in Afghanistan. The good news is he will be home for the reunion and I'm sure he'll have some good stories. Let's please remember to keep Dave in our prayers and all of our brave Men and Women that are serving in the Middle East.

Tom knocked his roommate up side the head with a hammer.

His dad died a few weeks before that happened.

Well, Just to set it straight. I was supposed to go to Iraq and then Afghanistan. That changed and I just want Lou to keep up the web site.... not really I am in Afghanistan. Plans changed and the stop over in Iraq was cancelled. So far so good.. if anyone is interested I started a quick blog and picture album if you want to know what is going on.

http://davidemmons.com I know what an arrogant ass :-) ... I have actually had it for years and never did anything with it until now.

See you all in the summer.

Right there with ya, Doug. We found our Pong set not too long ago and had a good laugh. Remember when we used to think that was the greatest thing, now the kids have WII, boy how times have changed, lol.

Hello everyone,

What a trip down memory lane! It's great to see what people have done since graduation. I visit Newport News every couple of years to see family that still live on the peninsula and I always hope to run into someone from THS.

Bruce, do you know where Wayne Skinner is? Are your parents still in the same house near his mom's? I haven't seen him since our 10th and we lost touch again shortly after the reunion. Remember sneaking into the drive-in in the trunk of his Olds and drinking BF Tickle Pink? OK, maybe you didn't drink the Tickle Pink.......

I'm looking forward to Aug.
